I am Back to my Beloved Hackney

Finally, I returned to E8 from a long break in the countryside. I am glad to be home again.

I have been a professional house cleaner for 20 years. I was born in Hackney and all my cleaning clients were in the same postcode – E8. You can tell I don’t like changes, can’t you?

I have seen it all – the messiest kitchens, the dirtiest bathrooms, you name it. And let me tell you, it takes a special kind of person to handle the job. You’ve gotta have a strong stomach, a good eye for detail, and a whole lot of patience.

But even with all that, a few things still drive me up the wall. Like when I’m scrubbing away at a sink, and the homeowner insists on talking to me the entire time. I love a good chat as much as the next person, but I’m trying to work here, love! And don’t even get me started on the people who leave their dirty dishes in the sink and expect me to clean them. Really, guys? Can’t you at least rinse them off before you leave them there to fester?

But despite the occasional frustrating moment, I love my job. There’s something satisfying about turning a cluttered, dirty house into a sparkling, welcoming home. And the best part is when I’m finished, and the clients are thrilled with the results. It’s like a little victory dance – I’ve conquered the mess, and everything is shiny and clean again.

So if you’re thinking about hiring an experienced domestic cleaner, don’t be shy – give me a call! I promise I won’t judge your mess (too harshly). Just remember to be kind to your maid, and always say please and thank you. It goes a long way, trust me.
